Creekside Estates

Creekside Estates is a private community of homes in which multiple families currently reside. “A Unique, Beautifully Landscaped Venue Unlike Anything Else in the Valley”. Located in Peoria, Arizona. This gorgeous location has beautiful architecture, landscapes, a bridge and a pond. This location does require a fee that so far has increased every year.

DC RANCH MARKETPLACE also known as Market Street at DC Ranch

Located at 20645 N Pima Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85255

If you’re looking for a unique urban area with some desert landscape, look no further than Market Street, North Scottsdale’s premier dining and social district, located on the southeast corner of Pima Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. The ambiance of Market Street is second to none with a rustic, small-town feel. It features a main street theme incorporating 15 architecturally unique buildings. This location is quickly becoming a Senior Session favorite because it offers a versatile array of backgrounds for photos.

DESERT BOTANICAL GARDENS

Desert Botanical Garden is a 140-acre botanical garden located in Papago Park, at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway in Phoenix, central Arizona.

When you visit this park you will revel in the explosion of desert wildflowers and blooming cactus along Garden trails. The vibrant colors and fragrances make it for such a beautiful location for any type of pictures. Below are some of my favorite images from this location. This is definitely at the top of my list. There is a fee to enter the park. You may have to make a special reservation or purchase your tickets ahead of time so make sure to contact the park.

Downtown Gilbert

Downtown Gilbert is known by the locals as the Heritage District. It is now a collection over 30 restaurants in a fun and vibrant space, adding some of the coolest photo spots in the east valley. The variety of restaurants, shopping stores, and art galleries provides a variety of photo backdrops for senior photos. From Murals to bridges and brick walls this is quickly becoming a favorite of many senior photographers.

PAPAGO PARK

Papago Park is a municipal park of the cities of Phoenix and Tempe, Arizona, United States.

It is so gorgeous, on one side you have the Papago Lakes that provide such beautiful views. On the other side you can see gorgeous mountains and in between there is plenty of desert landscape and Sahuaro Cacti making it a beautiful background for your Outdoor Senior Photos.

HERITAGE SQUARE

113 N 6TH ST, PHOENIX

Heritage Square is the oldest remaining residential block in the City of Phoenix. With ten fully-restored buildings, the Square offers visitors a unique look into the vibrant history of Phoenix at the turn of the 19th century.

The Victorian houses are surrounded by beautiful gardens and the brick walls create beautiful backdrops for photos. Heritage Square is located next to the Arizona Science Center which also offers a few cool backgrounds for photos. The Parking garage's top floor offers views of the city High Rises and the ASU Downtown Campus. Making this downtown location a favorite of many Seniors and Photographers. SAHUARO RANCH PARK

Sahuaro Ranch Park offers users both a recreational and historic experience. This park is unique with its historic ranch buildings, rose gardens, peacocks and orange trees. There are several background options for your Senior Session this is why Sahuaro Ranch is on my favorites list.

ROOSEVELT ROW-DOWNTOWN PHOENIX

DOWNTOWN PHOENIX, ROOSEVELT STREET BETWEEN 3RD AVE-16TH STREET

Roosevelt Row is downtown Phoenix’s walkable arts district. Home to art galleries and studio spaces, restaurants, bars and boutique shops in a landscape dotted by colorful street art. The colorful murals are amazing and are some of the coolest backgrounds for photography. Another very popular spot for any type of photography. I love taking my Seniors to this spot to give their photos a pop of color. The downtown area has a variety of parking structures that offer backdrops of high rise buildings that will give your Senior Session that urban look. I have taken several of my seniors to these locations and below I share some of my favorite images.

Salt River

The best-known segment of the river (formally the Lower Salt River) is located about 40 minutes from downtown Phoenix in Mesa. This location has access to the water while enjoying scenic Mountain Views. There are several photo worthy locations along the lower salt river. This location does require a travel fee and the purchase of a Tonto Park Pass.

Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch

Nestled on the lower banks of the Salt River, in the shadow of the Bulldog Cliffs, Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch is a spectacular photo location. This is a private resort that is often used as a wedding venue. Photography here comes at a cost of $150 for the venue only. There is also a travel fee. Worth every Penny, this location has become one of my favorites.

Skyline Regional Park, Buckeye Arizona

Buckeye's Skyline Regional Park is an 8,700 acre mountain preserve located in the southern White Tank Mountains. The park is located 2 miles north of the I-10 / Watson Road interchange at 2600 N. Watson Rd. Buckeye, AZ 85396. If you are looking for beautiful Desert Views with mountains this is the place to go. There is a beautiful bridge leading to the many hiking trails that Skyline park offers. I had a recent Session on a cloudy day but the images were still gorgeous.

Star Tower

“Just along the Estrella Parkway, followed by a little wander down a scenic path, you’ll find the Estrella Star Tower..Designed with colors and materials that match its surroundings, the tower offers stunning desert and mountain views. The 50ft tower has a river and waterfall nearby adding to the idealistic peacefulness of the location.

The Meadow AZ

The Meadow is 0.4 acres of legacy Arizona irrigated agriculture. The meadow is kept as green and lush as possible, and is constantly working to sustain it’s natural, “overgrown” beauty and find new and interesting ways to make it a fun and beautiful photo location. Located in Mesa, this Meadow is a little green gem hidden in AZ. If you are looking for grass this is the location for you. This location does require a rental fee but it's worth the greenery you get to enjoy. They also offer a variety of props that you can rent from their prop closet.

Tempe Town Lake, Marina Heights

Tempe Town Lake is a desert oasis in the middle of the Phoenix Metropolitan area, Tempe Town Lake, located adjacent to Downtown Tempe, provides a recreational haven for kayaking, sailing, rowing, jogging, fishing or picnicking. Tempe Town Lake is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Marina Heights is a huge new development along the south side of Tempe Town Lake, just north of Sun Devil Stadium. It is composed of Retail, Office and Residential buildings with a City Urban feel. I have recently discovered this area and love that I have a variety of backdrops for my Senior Sessions. You can hang out by the buildings and get some cool industrial gray backgrounds or beautiful water views closer to the lake and bridge. Check out a few images of my most recent Senior Session.

White Tanks Regional Park

The White Tank Mountains are a mountain range in central Arizona. The mountains are on the western periphery of the Phoenix metropolitan area, primarily flanked by the suburban cities of Buckeye to the southwest, and Surprise to the northeast. Best know for its amazing Golden Sunsets it has become one of my favorite spots for Senior Photos

Located in Buckeye Arizona, this is private property and requires a fee. These fields have pretty yellow flowers and lots of greenery.
