First Grade here I Come!!!

2020 was quite a year. So many things came to halt including Graduation. I know for me personally both of my girls missed out on their graduations. My last r=pre-school grad and my Kinder grad both missed out. I was so bummed. All year we had looked forward to their accomplishments but unfortunately the Pandemic ruined it for all of us. One of my clients' contacted me to take their sons Kinder Grad photos, due to the Cancellation of his Ceremony, I didn't hesitate one bit. I love doing Senior Cap and Gown photos so how different could this be? Right! Well 5 year olds are very different than 17 or 18 year olds but I was up for the challenge. I had previously photographed his family a few months back so I was familiar with him and he with me. I wanted to treat this session as I would a high school senior but with a smaller model of course.

This little one was so easy to work with. He followed direction so well and was up for all of the posing that I asked him to do. His pictures came out so adorable and I am so glad they did because his mom mentioned how important this was for her. Her eldest child never had a Kinder Graduation and now when she finally thought she would get one for her son, it was cancelled due to COVID-19. So she was determined to document this milestone by purchasing her own Cap and Gown off of Amazon and hiring a photographer to capture it. I am so grateful to have been chosen to be a part of these memories that she will cherish forever. I believe photos pause moments in time and that is why I do what I do. Below is a slideshow of Dario's Kinder session. These images were taken at Sahuaro Ranch in Glendale AZ.

I also had the opportunity to photograph my daughter's and their best friends. I purchased several cap & gowns from Amazon and took the girls to a local park and we had such a great time. Below are some of the photos from their session and a video from my clients session as well.
